Moral Alignment Test
Are you altruistic or egoistic?
I see myself as a total altruist who dedicates themselves on actively helping, assisting other people in need
I help where I can and like doing that, tho I cant completely ignore my own needs
I like to help when the assistance interests me but not when its boring. I like to care for my own business as long as it doesnt bother any other ppl
I prefer focusing on my own needs and interests and only really help if its in my interest too
Everyone is responsible for their own lives and with that, I only focus on my own goals and dont let others come in my way
How do you generally see laws and rules?
Laws and rules are important to organise our society and every one of them has its legitimation and benefit. I feel uncomfortable breaking laws and call others out when they do it
Most laws and rules are beneficial for a society and I usually follow them, but I dont hesitate to go around laws that make no sense
Laws and rules should be analysed if they actually follow their need and logic. If they dont make sense then there is no point following them
Most laws are an unnecessary limit or just badly executed. I dont mind doing what I think suits the situation better even if it goes actively against the law
Laws and rules are by its nature oppressive, limiting, unnecessary and will never suit the situations in order to help us but only in order to keep those in power in place
Your parents give you 100,- and tell you to distribute it among you & your sister (without them telling ur sister anything of that). You want to spend it for a cool game while your sister needs it for financing her education
I give everything to my sister, she needs it more seriously
I take 25,- and give her 75,-. So both needs are partially fulfilled
I share it 50/50. Thats true fairness
I give her 25,- and tell her I only got 50,- , while keeping the other 75,- for my needs
My parents gave me the 100,- so I use them for the most possible own advantage and keep everything without telling my sister about any of this
Your government is about to decide on a bill that you and your rebellion group find drastically evil, oppressive, destroying and tyrannical. How do you oppose?
I call for organising a registered, legal and peaceful demonstration. Even if it doesnt reach its effect, we should cause no harm nor break rules
I call for a spontaneuous illegal civil mass-protest but we should keep as peaceful as possible
Simple protest isnt useful but we also shouldnt cause personal harm. We should instead hack the governments systems so that they cant operate
We should vandalise the parliament, their homes, their businesses, their cars or everything that materially hurt them
We should just straight up place a bomb into the parliament and kill them all
You are taking part in a competitive game/sport with money in it and are accidently given an unfair advantage by the gamemaster. How do you react?
I instantely call the gamemaster about their mistake because I want everyone to take part ina fair competition with equal chances
I think about my reaction for a longer time until I give into my feeling for fairness and refuse to take an unfair advantage
I think about my reaction for a longer time, decide to do nothing about it but I feel very bad about my advantage
After a time of thinking if I should place the fairness a higher value, I decide that I could take advantage of this, it wasnt my mistake but the one of the gamemaster and I couldve also just *not realised the mistake*
The gamemaster gives me an advantage? Excellent, Id be a fool to not use it
What do you think about victimless crimes?
Law is law and law is needed to uphold the structure of a society. Everything else is literally Anarchy
Victimless crimes should still be punished to make the wrongdoer be aware of their fault
I can understand both sides and am indecisive on that
A victimless crime doesnt harm anyone or pose a threat to society, it should have no consequences
Punishing a victimless crime is literally totalitarianism. Laws should protect society, not punish anyone out of line
A sensitive person asks on your opinion on their art/clothing/food/... but you really dislike it. How do you react?
I wholeheartedly compliment the taken effort
I try to see the good and quality in this even tho its hard and focus on these aspects to not make this person hurt
I mildly say what i dislike but also try to find stuff that I like about it
I generally say that I dislike it, but combine it with how it can be improved
I laugh at this and describe it as disgusting. I just tell it as it is and dont want to sugarcoat anything
Reform or Revolution to achieve your ideal world?
I only support small gradual democratic reforms
I strive for significant change through mostly legal reform & peaceful protest
If peaceful reforms are sufficient I favour them, but Im open to radical revolution as well
Reforms are mostly ineffective and we need to strive for our ideals, even if it involves violent revolution
We need to crush our enemies by all means, the bloodier the better!
